Baldur’s Gate 3 Played for Over 17 Million Hours on Steam Deck
Baldur’s Gate 3, the epic RPG from Larian Studios, has been played on the Steam Deck for over 17 million hours.
This information was revealed by Michael Douse, the studio’s publishing director, in a post shared on his official X platform account. Douse disclosed that Baldur’s Gate 3 has been played for over 17,223,529 hours on the Steam Deck alone.
Impressive Numbers and Suggestions
“Over 17,223,529 hours of Baldur’s Gate 3 have been played on the Steam Deck. We should partner with someone to make a special edition with a 100W battery pack. A storage bag, you know, for your juice,” states Douse in the post below.
This is certainly a high number (equivalent to 1,965 years), especially considering that the Baldur’s Gate 3 Steam Deck audience is just a fraction of its total community.
As mentioned in the post, Douse suggests creating a version with an improved battery to give the Steam Deck a little more power, but it is likely just a celebratory joke.
