Battlefield 6 Beta: Get a Glimpse!
The recent Battlefield 6 beta testing phase has come to an end after two action-packed weekends. With four maps and a variety of game modes, it was the most extensive beta version ever seen in the series. And the numbers don’t lie – according to EA’s data, it was also the most popular beta yet!
Stats and Highlights
Let’s dive into the figures: a whopping 420,127,450 games played and 92,351,578 hours clocked in. On average, that’s around 13 minutes of gameplay per match, giving us an insight into the fast-paced action of the beta version.
When it comes to combat, the numbers are staggering: nearly 5 billion eliminations and over 30 million revives! Some interesting highlights include 7.4 million eliminations using defibrillators and 337 million eliminations with short-barrel shotguns.
Combat and Class Preferences
Vehicles played a crucial role in the beta, with millions of helicopters, jets, and tanks meeting their demise. On the ground, over 5 million deaths were recorded, with a total destruction value surpassing $196 billion.
In terms of class choices, Assault took the lead with 32% of players, followed by Support (26%), Engineer (23%), and Scout/Recon (19%). It seems like most players preferred to be on the frontline, leaving the reconnaissance duties to a smaller group.
The Battlefield Studios team expressed their gratitude to the community for their participation and promised to share more details as the launch date draws near. Mark your calendars for October 10, when Battlefield 6 will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
