Borderlands 4 Update Addresses Performance Issues
Borderlands 4 has recently received an update on PC aimed at fixing various reported issues affecting players. Bugs related to animations, audio, collisions, and GPUs have been identified as causes of frequent crashes during gameplay and have been addressed in this update.
Performance Problems Persist
Despite the recent fixes, performance issues still plague the game. Many players have been experiencing frame rate drops, stuttering, and instability, even on high-end computers. While the initial update helped alleviate some of these issues, complaints continue, especially in scenarios with numerous visual effects.
Gearbox is actively monitoring community feedback and working on further adjustments to enhance performance. New improvements are in the works, including additional options on consoles like a field of view adjustment that is currently undergoing testing.
Amidst the ongoing issues, Borderlands 4 remains a topic of controversy due to criticism of its PC performance. The Gearbox CEO recently suggested that dissatisfied players should consider requesting a refund if they are not enjoying the game.
