How to Avoid the Bug?
As you ascend to the third floor of the hospital, keep your eyes peeled for a metal door with a small open window near the save point. Interacting with this door will kick off a brief scene. When you return to the third floor later with the rooftop key, be sure to save manually before proceeding to the roof. This precaution is crucial to prevent getting stuck behind the door due to a glitch that could ruin your gaming experience.
The saving grace is that an automatic save should have been created prior to this mishap. If not, brace yourself for the inconvenience of retracing your steps to the last manual save point.
