Exciting Updates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Beta Testing
The anticipation for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is building up as the beta testing phase kicks off. Activision recently revealed a sneak peek of the game during the Call of Duty Next presentation, with the big news being the launch of the open beta version this week. Early access players can dive into the action on October 2nd, while the open beta will be accessible from October 5th to 8th.
Discover New Features in the Game
During this testing period, players will have the opportunity to explore six 6v6 maps, each offering a unique setting: from an offshore oil platform (Blackheart) to a research center in Tokyo (The Forge), and even more intriguing scenarios like Cortex, based in a human testing facility. Zombie fans can also look forward to playing on Vandorn Farm in Survival mode.
The full game, set to launch on November 14th, will include a total of 18 maps at release, with 16 designed for traditional 6v6 modes and two tailored for the new 20v20 Skirmish mode, perfect for epic battles. Fans can expect familiar locations from the series, like Colossus from Black Ops 2, along with fresh settings such as a futuristic Japanese castle or a surreal version of David Mason’s mind.
Exciting New Content and Expansion
In addition to the maps, the game will introduce 16 new weapons right from the start, including the impressive M10 Breacher shotgun, offering charged shots for more precision at medium range. Activision has also promised regular updates in the upcoming seasons, featuring new weapons, camouflages, and weekly challenges.
But the excitement doesn’t end there. The Zombies mode will unveil the Ashes of the Damned map, inspired by eerie locations with dark tales, all within the Dark Aether universe. Players can even traverse between areas using a special vehicle, Ol’ Tessie, which can be upgraded. And for Warzone enthusiasts, Season 1 brings the new Resurgence map, Haven’s Hollow, set in the Appalachian mountains.
