Activision reveals new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies mode
Activision recently dropped a new trailer for the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, titled Ashes of the Damned. This trailer introduces the main group of characters and gives us a sneak peek at the map, although gameplay footage is still under wraps.
In the video, we see eight characters coming together for the first time, with tantalizing hints at epic battles and connections to the Dark Aether universe. The trailer showcases familiar names like Dempsey, Nikolai, Maya, Weaver, Takeo, Richtofen, Carver, and Grey, forming the narrative core of this exciting new Zombies installment.
Treyarch’s cinematic approach
This trailer takes a cinematic approach, focusing on narrative elements and offering glimpses of the Ashes of the Damned map, while keeping gameplay mechanics a mystery. It’s a tantalizing teaser designed to unveil the cast of characters and the chilling environment of this next Zombies chapter.
Treyarch continues to spearhead the production of the Zombies mode, with support from Raven Software on certain aspects of the project. Fans can expect the classic Round-Based Zombies mode, featuring wave-based gameplay with progression and survival elements that define the series.
