The Remedy and Annapurna have announced a strategic partnership to adapt the franchises Control and Alan Wake for film and television, in a deal that also includes support for Control 2. With Annapurna’s help, Remedy will have a big boost in developing Control 2, allowing them to be the publisher of the game itself, as well as being able to adapt both properties to new formats. As the team behind Control 2 continues to rev up for production, the rest of Remedy will collaborate with Annapurna to bring the Remedy Connected Universe to new formats, including film and television. It has not been shared yet whether Alan Wake is headed to the big screen or streaming services, or if Control is the chosen property to bring to the silver screen.
