The film Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle continues to shatter records worldwide, solidifying its status as one of the most beloved Japanese movies of all time.
After its massive success in Japanese cinemas starting in July, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has been making its way to more countries in Asia throughout August and September, before finally reaching Western audiences. This staggered release strategy has led to the movie breaking numerous records over the span of these months.
Produced by Ufotable in collaboration with Aniplex and Toho Animation, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has now been released in 62 countries. It has already been dubbed as the best anime movie debut in France and Germany, mirroring its success in many other regions.
Furthermore, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is inching closer and closer to surpassing the total box office earnings of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train from 2020, further cementing its status as one of Japan’s biggest cinematic triumphs.
