The Bandai Namco has announced that they are experiencing higher than expected demand for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, which may result in difficulties obtaining a physical copy of the game in some markets.
Scheduled for October 2 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, Digimon Story: Time Stranger is the first new game in the main series since Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth in 2015, an effort by Media.Vision that is gaining a lot of attention among the Japanese audience.
Bandai Namco has informed that the demand for the game is high, so the number of physical units may not be enough for all players, asking for patience during the first week after launch.
Many Japanese players are already reporting difficulties in getting a physical copy of Digimon Story: Time Stranger, while others say they may not even receive the unit they reserved at launch.
