Final Fantasy 16 has finally arrived on Xbox Series X two years after its release on PlayStation 5, but Xbox players are facing an inferior version with performance issues.
According to Digital Foundry, the Xbox Series X version of Final Fantasy 16 suffers from lower dynamic resolutions, resulting in a less sharp image compared to the PS5 version.
Performance Discrepancy and Frame Rate Issues
The performance mode on Xbox Series X runs at 720p to achieve 60fps, while the PS5 runs at 1080p with better detail. However, Xbox Series X maintains a fixed 60fps in performance mode, whereas PS5 fluctuates between 45fps and 60fps.
