Forza Horizon 5: The Ultimate Arcade Racing Game
Forza Horizon 5 is hands down one of the best car games of this generation, and quite possibly one of my all-time favorites. It stands as the pinnacle of a series that originated from Forza, but has now carved its own path with its pure arcade fun. The immediate thrill you experience when hopping into one of the 500+ cars available in the game is unmatched by any other racing game out there.
The emphasis on less realistic driving opens up a world of pure fun, allowing players to enjoy the pleasure of driving without the constraints of real-life rules or simulation game mechanics. Racing through the stunning locations of a vast map, with great music and breathtaking visuals, is an absolute joy that you can only truly understand by playing Forza Horizon 5.
The Exciting Gameplay
When it comes to gameplay, the arcade style of Forza Horizon 5 makes it incredibly easy to pick up and play. Even after five installments, Playground Games deserves recognition for how finely-tuned the gameplay is. The focus on maximizing enjoyment is evident, as the game features a driving system that demands skill (to conquer all the festival events, you’ll need to put in the effort), while still being instantly captivating. With the festival expanding rapidly and offering countless races and events scattered throughout the map, you’ll quickly rack up rewards and unlock new cars.
