Recently, Microsoft Gaming revealed changes to its Game Pass service, including price increases and a new subscription tier, but the future may bring more news. The company may be preparing to introduce at least one more tier to make Game Pass more accessible to more players, on more devices, in more locations.
According to Windows Central, thanks to PureXbox, the Game Pass Cloud option could arrive in the future as a way to play games in the cloud without subscribing to Game Pass Ultimate. Microsoft is reportedly working on a version where you can only access Game Pass games through the cloud, a cheaper and more affordable option than Ultimate.
In addition to this Game Pass Cloud version, there have been unofficial reports of a possible ad-supported version, suggesting that Microsoft is exploring ways to expand access to its subscription service on more devices.
