Microsoft Introduces Xbox Game Pass Standard
Microsoft has introduced the Xbox Game Pass Standard, a new subscription version that brings significant changes compared to the old Game Pass for consoles. Priced at 10.99€ per month, this version aims to offer a more affordable option for gamers, but with some limitations compared to the Ultimate version.
Changes and Limitations
One of the main changes is the removal of blockbuster titles from the Standard catalog, such as Starfield, Hellblade 2, and Diablo 4. These games, which were previously available to Game Pass for Console subscribers, can now only be accessed by Ultimate version owners. Additionally, over 40 games have been transferred to the Ultimate version, including both major releases and smaller titles like Still Wakes the Deep and Botany Manor.
PC Game Pass Unaffected
These changes do not apply to the Game Pass for PC, which will continue to receive games on launch day.
