Ghosts of Yotei: A New Adventure
According to statements from the producer Sucker Punch, Ghost of Yotei is being produced on a scale and duration similar to Ghost of Tsushima. The confirmation came from the creative director Jason Connell, who explained that the new game was made based on the same time and size standards as the studio’s previous game.
Exploring the World of Ghost of Yotei
Connell said that the team used the original game’s metrics as a solid starting point to build the new experience. This decision is evident not only in the structure of the open world but also in the type of travel that players can undertake, whether it’s just following the main story, exploring the map in depth, or completing all available objectives.
If the new game follows the same pattern as Ghost of Tsushima, the main campaign of Ghost of Yotei should last around 25 hours. For those who want to explore the game thoroughly, this time can exceed 60 hours, as was the case with the previous title.
Ghost of Yotei will be released exclusively for PlayStation 5 on October 2, 2023.
