Cinematic Showdown: Godzilla vs. Kong
Godzilla vs. Kong, Kung Fu Panda 4, and Dune: Part 2 continue to dominate the big screen, with the clash between giant beasts taking the lead. Following the latest weekend, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros.’ Godzilla vs. Kong has now surpassed $361 million at the global box office, with over $226 million collected outside the United States, and a total of $34 million in IMAX theaters.
Kung Fu Panda 4 and Dune: Part 2 Success
Kung Fu Panda 4 is also a major hit at the moment, with over $410.4 million in box office earnings. Outside the United States, the film has already grossed more than $244 million, and its debut in China helped to bring in close to $43 million this past weekend. Dune: Part 2 experienced a 42% drop in audience attendance in theaters but has now crossed the $660.7 million mark in box office earnings, with nearly $140 million coming from IMAX theaters.
It’s worth mentioning that director Dev Patel’s film “The Monkey Man” managed to bring in over $12.7 million in its limited release, as it is available in only a few countries.
