The Electronic Arts and Full Circle have revealed that their new game, skate., had a strong start as a free-to-play game. skate. is available for everyone on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
According to EA, in the first 3 weeks, skate. has reached over 15 million players, an impressive number of people who have entered San Vansterdam to discover the charms of this open-world skate experience that is constantly evolving.
Developing a Dynamic Skateboarding Sandbox
Full Circle spent several months in internal testing, but in September transitioned to early access available to the public, which will help develop this evolving skateboarding sandbox to become more fun, with more content and reasons to stay in the city.
Additionally, it was revealed that the First Season kicks off today with new features for everyone, including the Skate-o-Ween event with various thematic challenges to mark this time of year. This first season will also have numerous new cosmetics to purchase with in-game currency earned by playing or by exchanging for real money.
