HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail will be upgrading to version 3.0 on January 15th, allowing players to explore a new location, Amphoreus, where they can witness a new chapter in the main storyline.
Amphoreus, a planet created by Titans where “gods and miracles are tangible realities, not mere myths”, will be the central focus of Honkai: Star Rail from version 3.0 to 3.7. Players can expect new stories, maps, and gameplay features yet to be revealed in this mysterious new location. Additionally, Aglaea and A Herta will be added as playable characters, although players will still be subject to the random draw system.
In Amphoreus, the Astral Express unexpectedly arrives on the planet, allowing the Trailblazer to unlock the Path of Remembrance after exploring various regions. This path grants the ability to draw strength from the past. The group will venture through the Abyss of Destiny, traverse the mists, deeply explore the temple, and ultimately have an audience with Oronyx, the Titan of Time.
Inspired by Greek mythology, Amphoreus will host various exciting events as the story unfolds. Alongside the new characters Herta and Aglaea, players can expect other updates such as the return of Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade in the first part, and Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf in the second part of Honkai: Star Rail 3.0.
