After launching Howl for PC and consoles in late 2023, Mi’pu’mi Games has teamed up with publisher Astragon Entertainment to bring the game to iOS and Android devices.
The Game Experience
Today, players can experience this folkloric tale for free on their mobile devices. Howl offers tactical turn-based gameplay in a medieval fantasy world where the kingdom is under threat from werewolves. These creatures are actually victims of a spreading disease, and the player’s goal is to prevent its spread.
Gameplay Details
Players take on the role of a deaf protagonist, navigating through infected areas to protect survivors. The turn-based tactical gameplay unfolds on a grid, with players needing to outmaneuver enemies who only move when they spot you. Each turn allows for six moves, and the objective is to reach the end of the level without being attacked.
In-Game Purchases
Although Howl is free to download on iOS and Android, access is limited to the initial phase of the game. To continue playing, users will need to purchase the full version for 4.99 euros.
