End of Multiversus Beta and Offline Period
Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games have announced that Multiversus will be offline for more than 6 months and will return in 2024 in its final version, contrary to the original announcement.
After more than 8 months in open beta, with the promise that players would be able to continue playing the beta until the final version arrives without losing progress or content, it has been announced that Multiversus will be offline in June and until 2024, only local offline modes will be available.
Your progress and unlocked or purchased content will return when the final version arrives, but this is just a small consolation for players who have spent time and money on a game that will be offline for over 6 months.
In response to the announcement, many players are criticizing the studio’s decision, as it goes against the initial promise that motivated them to invest in Multiversus, despite understanding the desire to improve it.
The team acknowledges that the decision may disappoint many players, but they affirm that it is the best for Multiversus.
If they think shutting down for an undetermined amount of time but refusing refunds is going to be well received they are insane. pic.twitter.com/tQhSjjBkyw
