Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair
The films Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 have been combined into a single movie titled Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. This new version of Quentin Tarantino’s work will be released in theaters in December, featuring a new animated scene to enhance its already lengthy duration.
Complete Version
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair presents the complete version of Tarantino’s vision by eliminating the cliffhanger ending of the first film and the summary at the beginning of the second film. This decision was made to ensure total continuity and transform the two films into one cohesive 4-hour movie.
Original Intention
Although Tarantino initially wrote and directed the two films as one, they were split during post-production to avoid releasing a 4-hour movie in theaters. Now, more than 20 years later, audiences will finally experience Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair as originally envisioned by the filmmaker. The movie is set to premiere in US theaters on December 5th.
