Lords of the Fallen 2: New Direction in Development
Lords of the Fallen 2 is currently in production at Hexworks, aiming to create a sequel with a more mainstream aesthetic to appeal to a wider audience that may not have enjoyed the enemy design in the original game released in 2023.
According to the company’s latest financial report, Lords of the Fallen 2 is being developed with Unreal Engine 5, already in production, with the goal of hitting the shelves in 2026 and the official reveal scheduled for 2025.
One of the main objectives is to increase accessibility and appeal to capture existing series fans while also attracting new players. Hexworks hopes to achieve this through gameplay improvements and additional game modes.
Exclusive Release on Epic Games Store
Lords of the Fallen 2 will be released as an exclusive on the Epic Games Store in 2026, with progress shared when playing solo or cooperatively.
