Lords of the Fallen 2: The Next Chapter
Hexworks and publisher CI Games are gearing up to reveal the next chapter of the beloved series for gamers, Lords of the Fallen.
On August 19, the next chapter of the series will be unveiled, as teased on social media with artwork featuring the number “II” painted in blood.
This announcement practically confirms that Lords of the Fallen 2 will be part of Opening Night Live, a streamed event on August 19 marking the start of Gamescom 2025. Fans will soon get the first glimpse of what’s in store for the game.
Lords of the Fallen: A Brief History
Lords of the Fallen made its debut in late 2023 as an action RPG soulslike game, which saw continuous enhancements in the months that followed. In April of this year, the game received its 2.0 update, introducing a host of new features that are likely to carry over to the sequel.
Updates in the 2.0 version included the ability to share progress when playing online cooperatively, the Friend Pass feature allowing friends to join with just one copy of the game, improved combat and weapon audio, and expanded character creation options.
These key features introduced in the 2.0 update are expected to form the groundwork for the upcoming game.
