Japanese Embrace Mario Kart World and Nintendo Switch 2 with Over 1 Million Units Sold
In the past three weeks, the Japanese market has shown a strong affinity for Mario Kart World and the Nintendo Switch 2, with over 1 million units sold in stores for both the game and the console. Last week, more than 122,000 physical copies of Mario Kart World were sold, pushing the total physical units sold past the 1 million mark in Japan. The game’s sales are closely following the console sales, which have surpassed 1.2 million units.
RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army made a significant debut last week, with over 51,000 physical units sold. The Switch version was the top seller, with the PS5 version following closely behind. However, the PS5 console itself only sold around 13,000 units, significantly trailing behind the 140,000 units sold of the Switch 2.
