MediEvil Almost Became a Movie with Jack Black
PlayStation’s MediEvil was close to becoming a movie, with the involvement of Jack Black and his band Tenacious D in the project’s soundtrack.

Director Ben Mekler revealed, “We were very close to turning one of my favorite video games, MediEvil, into an animated film with original music from Tenacious D.”
Mekler shared this information as part of a viral activity asking people to comment on a “missed opportunity,” but no additional details about the project were provided.
Furthermore, Totalfilm suggests the small possibility that Mekler may be joking, but considering he has already worked with Jack Black on various projects, the idea of an animated film inspired by the 1998 game doesn’t seem far-fetched.
