Metal Gear Delta: Snake Eater was announced as the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, in which Konami collaborates with Virtuos to present the original story renewed with spectacular graphics and modern gameplay.
Voice Cast and Authenticity
After the trailer reveal and a brief official statement, there were still several questions about the project and whether this remake means a new cast of actors to voice the characters.
Konami only mentioned that they would use the voices of the original actors to ensure greater authenticity, without clarifying whether this would involve returning to the studio to record new lines.
Tommy Williams from Konami in the United States confirmed to The Verge that the company will use the original versions, the voices already recorded, with better audio quality. This clarification practically confirms that the remake will not have new scenes.
Delta in Metal Gear Delta: Snake Eater
It was also confirmed that the use of Delta in the name Metal Gear Delta: Snake Eater means “change without altering the structure,” Konami’s goal for this remake that will remain highly faithful to the original version.
