Microsoft has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will be launching in 2026, but PlayStation 5 players will have to wait. The game will debut on Xbox and PC first, with Game Pass access on day one, before making its way to Sony’s console.
The upcoming game will transport players to Japan, blending Tokyo’s urban streets with rural mountain and field roads. The aim is to deliver a vast map filled with diverse landscapes, staying true to the series’ signature style.
Game Updates
Despite recent Microsoft titles also being available on PlayStation, Forza Horizon 6 remains focused on the Xbox ecosystem. The PS5 version is slated for a later release, emphasizing Xbox and PC availability in 2026.
As of now, the game’s release timeline stands: Xbox and PC users will race through Japan in 2026, while PS5 owners await their turn to hit the track.
