EA Sports Confirms Support for Nintendo Switch 2, But NHL 26 Not Included
EA Sports has confirmed its support for the Nintendo Switch 2, with the announcement of Madden NFL 26 and FC 26 for the new console. However, NHL 26 will not be part of this lineup.
Interview with EA Sports Vancouver on NHL 26
In a recent interview with EA Sports Vancouver, Mike Inglehart, creative director, and David Pritchett, producer, discussed the new features of NHL 26. The game is set to release on September 12, but it will not be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 or PC.
“Our focus right now is on delivering the best possible experience for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, where we can take full advantage of the technology, presentation, and gameplay of the next generation,” said Mike Inglehart.
No NHL 26 for PC and Nintendo Switch 2
Despite efforts to create a more authentic experience and expand the player base, EA Sports Vancouver has decided not to release NHL 26 for PC and Nintendo Switch 2. The NHL series may take longer to arrive on additional platforms compared to Madden NFL and FC.
