Nintendo Direct Announcement
Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct presentation for Friday, September 12, 2025, at 2pm (Portugal time) and 10am (Brasília time). Updates for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles will be featured during the one-hour event.
Special Celebrations and Expectations
Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. in Japan on September 13, 1985, this event is expected to include special announcements. Anticipation is also high for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, initially announced in 2017 and restarted in 2019.
The livestream will be available on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel and the Nintendo Today platform. Nintendo Today, a mobile app launched in March 2025, compiles Nintendo-related news, events, live streams, and post-event updates.
