Exciting News for No Man’s Sky Fans!
Hello Games has just announced a new free update for No Man’s Sky, set to launch on June 5th alongside the highly anticipated Switch 2 release. This updated version of the game for Nintendo’s console promises to bring a whole new level of excitement and gameplay compared to its predecessor.
What to Expect in the Update
The studio has promised major improvements and additions to the game, including visual enhancements, increased world density and detail, higher resolutions, and better performance. Players can look forward to running the game at 1080p/40fps in handheld mode and 1440p/30fps when docked.
In addition, the Switch 2 version will now feature multiplayer mode and a brand new colonization system, offering players a more immersive and interactive gaming experience. Cross-save and cross-play functionalities have also been added, allowing seamless progression across different devices.
Introducing the Beacon Update
But that’s not all – the Switch 2 update will also introduce the Beacon update, rolling out on June 4th for all other platforms as well. This update brings a significant overhaul to the colonization system, allowing players to manage multiple settlements with new customization options and features like ship traders, fishing lakes, and recruitable defensive forces to protect their territories.
