No Rest for the Wicked by Moon Studios celebrated its first anniversary on April 18th, but it still remains in early access for PC, with no release date yet for PS5 and Xbox Series. The studio is currently focused on responding to fans’ requests for more content, mechanics, and features. The recent significant response is The Breach update, which adds a lot of new content and expands the game. The Breach introduces new missions, high-quality cinematic animations, new areas that almost double the world’s size, two new settlements, new Gear, a Hardcore mode with permanent death, performance improvements, and hundreds of bug fixes. However, the most exciting additions are probably the new Plague System, designed for the endgame. The Plague System enhances combat and progression with a revamped food and hunger mechanic, as well as 9 new bosses for this late game phase.
