Blizzard has announced Overwatch: Classic, a return to the original game presented as a new mode within Overwatch 2. From November 12 to December 2, players can access the Overwatch: Classic mode in Events or Arcade within Overwatch 2. This mode allows players to use the 21 original heroes in their original forms, complete with their original Ultimates. Initially, there are no restrictions on hero or role selection, but rules may be introduced later on. Despite being a part of Overwatch 2, all the original maps will be available in Overwatch: Classic. Blizzard has confirmed that this is the first Overwatch: Classic event, hinting at more to come in the future.
