The Netflix has released the first official trailer for the animated series Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, confirming its premiere on October 14, 2025. The series adapts the well-known espionage game franchise from Ubisoft into animation, bringing back agent Sam Fisher, now voiced by Liev Schreiber.
The trailer features Fisher on a mission described as highly personal, alongside Zinnia McKenna, a new agent played by Kirby Howell-Baptiste. The animation explores the world of espionage in a hybrid warfare environment, with Fisher dealing with personal losses and unfinished business.
The script is written by Derek Kolstad, creator of John Wick, and produced by Sun Creature Studios and Fost. The material released showcases Kolstad’s characteristic action and espionage style, adapted for the animated narrative.
The series will have eight episodes of around 30 minutes each and will be exclusively streamed on Netflix starting in October.
