Techland, the Polish developer famous for the Dying Light series, has recently made the tough decision to cancel two projects after facing their worst fiscal year ever. The company has suffered losses of over 31 million euros and has not released any new games since the launch of Dying Light 2 in 2022. Their next anticipated release, Dying Light: The Beast, is scheduled for August and is seen as their major project in the past three years. Despite high hopes for the success of this game, Techland has opted to scrap two undisclosed projects, including a potential action RPG AAA set in an open world environment.
