Ghost of Yotei: A New PlayStation Studios Franchise
Ghost of Yotei, the second game in a new franchise from PlayStation Studios that started with Ghost of Tsushima, will show Sucker Punch differentiating the protagonists through gameplay, as Atsu lacks the gracefulness of Jin Sakai.
Atsu: The Vengeful Spirit
“Atsu is not someone who walks into a room and people show her respect,” says Nate Fox, one of the directors of Ghost of Yotei, explaining that unlike Jin Sakai, a samurai torn between maintaining his honor and doing what is necessary to save his people, Atsu is a woman on a mission of revenge, using everything she can to gain an advantage.
A Different Life
“She has a different life than Jin and we want to show that through interactivity. Jin was a scholarly samurai, he would stop to reflect and appreciate the beauty of nature. Atsu is not that person,” Fox told The Guardian.
Ghost of Yotei arrives on October 2nd on PS5.
