Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots took the top spot as the best-selling physical game in Japanese stores during the first week of September, beating out Mario Kart World which has already sold around 1.7 million copies in Japan.
Nintendo Switch 2 Dominates Console Sales in Japan
The Nintendo Switch 2 continues to dominate console sales in Japan, with over 46,000 units sold and nearing the 2 million mark. It outperformed the PS5, which had a strong week with nearly 31,000 units sold, bringing its total sales to over 7 million since its launch in November 2020.
