Sony Interactive Entertainment has just released a new update for the PlayStation 5, aimed at fixing some issues. The 25.06-12.02.00 update, which is 1.3 GB in size, is now available and its main focus is on addressing security issues within the system software.
This update is all about improving security, so don’t expect any flashy new features or exciting additions the next time you power up your PS5 and connect to the PSN.
With the PlayStation 5 currently on sale with discounts of up to 100 euros, this update is likely the first one that many users will download. It also comes just in time for the launch of Ghost of Yotei, the new samurai epic from Sucker Punch.
