The movie Minecraft is set to hit theaters on April 3rd, as an adaptation of one of the most successful video games of all time. The joint production of Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures is led by Jason Momoa and Jack Black, who confessed to being a big fan of video games.
When asked about their knowledge and experiences in video games, Momoa confessed that he doesn’t play much because he easily gets addicted to things and prefers to stay away, but Black shared that he was completely hooked on Red Dead Redemption 2.
“It was during the pandemic. I played Red Dead Redemption 2 and lived in it. It wasn’t a game, it was a way of life. I have 400 hours of gameplay and it was immense and I don’t regret anything. It was so much fun. It’s beautiful, it’s an incredible universe they created,” Black told Comicbook.
Momoa said he had never heard of Red Dead Redemption 2, which led Black to respond, “dude, have you never heard of Rockstar Games? These guys are the artists. You have to play it, it will change your life. If you play only one game, make it this one.”
It was at this moment that Momoa revealed that he has a personality that easily gets addicted to things, so he prefers to stay away from video games, which led Black to respond, “probably for the best. You get lost in there. You would spend years in there.”
