Sales Success
Following critical acclaim, the Resident Evil 4 remake was made available on March 24th and in just 2 days, over 3 million units were sold.
This sales pace surpasses that of Village (3 million units in 4 days), Resident Evil 3 remake (2 million in 5 days), and Resident Evil 2 remake (3 million in 7 days), showcasing the increased interest in this new remake and how Capcom’s success continues to win over players from game to game.
Now, Capcom will aim to sell more units in the coming weeks and months, with the help of new free additional content. Plans include the Mercenaries Mode, PSVR2 content, and even the Separate Ways expansion.
