Resident Evil 9: What to Expect
Resident Evil 9 has not been officially announced yet, but it seems more than inevitable that Capcom will eventually reveal to the world that they have a new original game in this series.
The Anticipation Builds
The folks over at Metacritic seem fully confident in this and have already prepared the Resident Evil 9 page for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The announcement could be coming soon, perhaps at The Game Awards in December, for Capcom to start the journey towards the launch.
Officially, we only know that Capcom is working on a new original game in the Resident Evil series, with a semi-linear design according to unofficial information, but it seems more than certain that it will be announced at any moment.
Considering that Resident Evil Village from 2021 is the latest original game in the series, and the Resident Evil 4 remake of 2023 is the latest effort from Capcom in their popular franchise, it is not far-fetched to think that a new game could arrive in 2025.
