Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, originally scheduled for 2022, has been delayed to May 2023. After showcasing over 15 minutes of gameplay in a State of Play event, Rocksteady Studios announced a further delay to February 2, 2024.
Following the news of the delay in April 13, 2023, there has been no additional updates on Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. Warner Bros. Interactive has remained quiet as the studio continues to work on their highly anticipated new game.
Rumors have emerged months after the initial delay, revealing new details about the project. Contrary to speculations of major changes due to the delay, an unofficial source suggests that the game design remains the same.
According to the rumor, shared on Reddit and verified by moderators on ResetEra, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will launch on February 2, 2024 in a standard edition with extra costumes. Players will also have the option to purchase the Deluxe Edition and access the game on January 30, which includes additional costumes and the first Battle Pass.
The unofficial information also indicates that the game will feature dynamic weather and time of day, a city size in Metropolis twice that of Gotham in Arkham Knight, and the ability to play solo with the option to switch between characters. Additionally, Rocksteady is reportedly planning a year of additional content, including new characters.
