Rumors of More Versions of Resident Evil Requiem
Capcom is preparing Resident Evil Requiem for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, but a well-known unofficial source, who has proven to have some insight into the plans of the Japanese company, assures that more versions are on the way.
Possible Releases for Nintendo Switch 2 and PS4
DuskGolem, a familiar name among Resident Evil fans and horror game enthusiasts, has heard from various sources that Capcom is preparing versions of Resident Evil Requiem for Nintendo Switch 2 and PS4. While these versions may not launch alongside the already announced ones, they are “basically, a certainty,” according to DuskGolem.
Although these versions may not offer the same graphical quality as the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC versions, DuskGolem believes that Capcom wants to make the game accessible to a wider audience.
In light of the high price of the PlayStation 5, Capcom’s president has hinted at exploring new possibilities to reach a broader audience, suggesting a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monster Hunter Wilds. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that Resident Evil Requiem and other Capcom games like Pragmata and Onimusha: Way of the Sword could make their way to the Nintendo Switch 2.
