Pocketpair, the producer of Palworld, has once again surprised fans by announcing the spin-off dating simulation game Pal♡world! More Than Just Pals. This time, the news comes with an official page on Steam, hinting that the release may be real.
Back in 2024, the company released a trailer for this game on April Fools’ Day, leading many to believe it was just a prank. But now, with a dedicated page on the Steam platform, the possibility of a legitimate release is gaining momentum.
High School Romance and Intrigue at Palpagos Private Academy
According to the description on Steam, Pal♡world! More Than Just Pals is a high school romance simulation where players take on the role of a student transferred to the prestigious Palpagos Private Academy. There, you can make friends with the Pals and develop romantic relationships.
“You, the protagonist, have enrolled as a transferred student at the prestigious Palpagos Private Academy. You will meet unique friends (pals) and enjoy school life through friendship and romance. It’s up to you to decide whether you want to remain friends with your friends, develop romantic relationships with them, or even dismember and eat them.”
The official Palworld account on X insists on the legitimacy of the project. In response to a follower who questioned if it was another April Fools’ joke, they replied on the official profile: “April Fools’ joke? What? Add it to your Steam wishlist now.” Additionally, John ‘Bucky’ Buckley, communications director at Pocketpair, commented: “You were always asking for it, so here it is – the Palworld dating simulator page on Steam is live, along with a new trailer showcasing more characters. Got a good idea? Got a bad idea? It doesn’t matter! Someone will be happy!”
