Square Enix Ends iOS Version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Looks like the iOS version of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is coming to an end, all thanks to a pesky purchase error. Square Enix made the tough decision to pull the plug on the game after reports of users not being able to access their bought extras. It turns out that changes in the in-game purchasing model caused this hiccup, and unfortunately, Square Enix can’t wave a magic wand to fix it.
What’s Next for Players?
For those who’ve been diving into Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles on iOS since January 2024 and have bought goodies along the way, fret not. You can hit up Apple for a refund if you’ve been locked out of your purchased content. The game may have been free to play, but unlocking the full version and snagging extra stuff cost 24 euros. Don’t worry though – other versions of the game are still alive and well, so the adventure doesn’t have to stop just yet.
