Suicide Squad Isekai is the name of this anime that was announced, and initial details suggest that it will somehow be connected to the new universe that James Gunn and Peter Safran are creating for the cinemas.
Eri Osada, the main animator for Jujutsu Kaisen, will be leading the creative team for Suicide Squad Isekai, and the first teaser suggests that you will have a new adventure in which the protagonists are transported to a new fantasy world.
Harley and Joker are causing chaos in Gotham, with confrontations against the police in between, but we also see them in a fantasy world with orcs and dragons, hinting at a journey to a different world.
The team at WIT ensures that this Joker will be unique and original because they did not want to copy other versions and sought an interesting dynamic to form a duo of protagonists.
