Originally released for PC in 2023, The Exit 8 by Japanese developer Kotake Create has been adapted into a live-action film, with the trailer now available to showcase the terror and panic heading to cinemas.
Developed by just one person, The Exit 8 is a game where you dive into an endless cycle of terror, trapped in an underground station and must survive. The rules are simple – keep moving forward searching for the exit if everything seems normal, but once an anomaly appears, run.
Currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, The Exit 8 may not be widely known among mainstream audiences, but it is part of the growing list of games inspiring live-action films.
