Jon Bernthal Discusses Upcoming Punisher Special on Disney+
Jon Bernthal states that they are assembling an “incredible group” for the upcoming Punisher special that will debut on Disney+.
“I’ve said it a million times, Frank is in my blood, in my heart. I care about him,” Bernthal told Collider in a conversation where he says that this version of Frank Castle he portrayed is the one that the audience was hungry for, whose reactions ended up inspiring the actor.
“We’ve talked to various writers, the ideas that started to emerge began to resonate and I think they saw how much I liked them. We have a great group of veterans I work with. One in particular, my friend Nick, has been amazing. I hope it all goes well.”
High Expectations for the Punisher Special
Bernthal says he doesn’t want to say too much because he prefers to let the results speak for themselves, but he believes that the group leading the creation of this Punisher special has immense talent.
