With a core team of about a dozen people, expanded to 20 to 30 with external collaborators, Play By Play aims to compete by offering an alternative to EA and 2K’s big titles. The goal is to create a more dynamic and engaging basketball experience without the need to follow the strict rules of professional organizations.
The Run: Got Next promises a modern mechanic inspired by games like Rocket League, with fast matches and a focus on online multiplayer mode. The idea is for players to engage in interesting matches in less than five minutes, with an emphasis on a social experience. Additionally, the studio aims to revive the responsiveness of controls from older games, allowing players to always feel in control.
