EA Announces The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack
EA has announced the upcoming release of The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits expansion pack, which will be available starting October 2nd on EA App, Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The pack introduces a new world, Gibbi Point, featuring a variety of activities, locations, and customization systems.
New Content and Features
The expansion pack expands on the children’s content in The Sims 4, allowing child Sims to develop skills in crafting, archery, diving, and entomology, as well as explore new emotions and traits. It also introduces Imaginary Friends, dolls with unique personalities that interact with Sims and influence their development.
For adults, the new space offers recreational activities and the new career as a Forest Ranger, with careers in camp surveillance or forest guarding. Players can create Custom Locations and Vacation Itineraries with defined activities, which can be shared in the community gallery. The system also allows for setting specific rules for challenges and competitions between Sims.
Community Collaboration and Bonuses
The expansion includes collaboration with community creators, who have built lots and getaway locations in Gibbi Point, such as Gibbi Gibbi Camp, Hills of Love, Revive and Thrive Retreat, and Crystal Cottage, offering a variety of styles and experiences. Additionally, the pack’s soundtrack features original Simlish tracks from artists like UMI, Naomi Scott, and Chloe Moriondo.
Players who purchase the expansion by November 13th will receive bonus items, including a lamp, a drink, and heated socks, in line with the theme of getaways.
