Liam Hemsworth discusses his role in The Witcher
The Netflix series The Witcher has divided opinions, with many fans dissatisfied with the changes from the original books. Henry Cavill’s departure didn’t help much either, but now we will have Liam Hemsworth taking on the lead role.
In a recent interview on the American show “Kelly & Mark,” Hemsworth talked about his participation in The Witcher, revealing that he had never watched the series before. Additionally, the actor considers The Witcher to be one of the best games of all time.
Passion for the video game
“Yes, I was familiar with The Witcher. I hadn’t watched the series or read the books, but I played the game 10 years ago. To this day, it’s one of the best games of all time,” Hemsworth stated.
“About two years ago, Netflix approached me to star in the series and I was very excited about the opportunity, as I am a fan of the game,” the actor concluded. You can see this moment in the video above, even though Hemsworth did not specify which game of The Witcher he was referring to.
It is worth noting that Netflix released an official teaser a few months ago, revealing Liam Hemsworth in the role of Geralt. No release date has been announced yet for the new season.
