Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Towa and the Guardians of the Secret Tree, a new roguelike game developed by Brownies. Described as a Hades-style game with a focus on Japanese mythology, Towa and the Guardians of the Secret Tree challenges players to master its gameplay to overcome various obstacles with the assistance of a group of guardians.
The trailer highlights Nishiki and Rekka, two powerful allies who will accompany Towa in her journey. Players will have the ability to control Towa and one of her eight allies during combat, offering a unique approach to gameplay in a challenging roguelike experience.
In addition to engaging in raids to thwart evil forces, Towa and the Guardians of the Secret Tree features a dynamic narrative component. The village within the game progresses with each new attempt, unlocking new possibilities for players.
